A downloadable game for Windows

Abyss is a small prototype for an interactive fiction game with 2.5D graphics created in the context of the Epic Mega Jam 2023 by myself (Emile Fechette).

I have made the game in its totality from the 15th to 21st of september using my own understanding and skills entirely.

Everything was created for the jam besides a few of the textures, which I made a few weeks priors in Substance Sampler, musics (from a previous unreleased 8-bit album), and postprocess filters, which I created previously during the year.

CONTROLS

Mouse - For dialogue navigation
Left/Right - For left and right movement
Up/Down - For moving the road forward and backward
Control - For attacking
T - For interaction
Space - For jumping

KNOWN BUGS

The character "..." is replaced by a blank space in dialogs
Going backward on the map will respawn dead NPCs
The collider for interaction (talking to NPCs/picking items) is very small and can cause unwanted issues

I have no more strength to work on the project, sorry. But because it is open source, you can fix it yourself.
